Kaj Olesen, the founder of Kaj Olesen A/S, has been in the fish processing business since 1958 and has since 1998 been engaged in production of equipment for the fish processing industry. Approximately 400 Easy Matic pinbone removers are now operating world-wide and this has only been possible due to the high quality products and top class service. Based on standard equipment Kaj Olesen A/S is specialising in tailor made equipment such as fish turner, fish distributor, trimming line, adjustable work station, flip-over etc. In 2004 Kaj Olesen A/S came with a new invention - the KOB400 Dark Meat Remover, which can remove the dark meat from trout and salmon fillets.

Kaj Olesen A/S is exporting more than 90% of its production ­ partly through agents and partly from its main office in Denmark.

The EASY-MATIC machines are designed to remove a maximum number of pinbones while doing minimal damage to the salmon fillets. All of the EASY-MATIC machines are very easy to operate and require little maintenance. In a situation where you do not wish to remove the bones, the remover heads can be adjusted. You can continue to use the machine as a normal transport belt, without disturbing your production line. The remover heads can be adjusted in height, angle and speed. They are kept clean with a water spray system for fresh fillets and an air system for smoked fillets. There is a water spray system underneath the belt for continuous cleaning of the belt during production. The belt speed is adjustable.

EASY-MATIC 102 is equipped with 2 pinbone-removing heads and is capable of processing approximately 700-1200 kgs (1540-2640 lbs.) per hour, or 16 - 22 pieces per minute, depending on the type and size of salmon.
